Holy weather Batman.

I desperately wanted to take photos outside and show you more of this outfit, but the wind had other ideas. This one little shot was all I could manage without risking the fall of my camera from a six foot high tripod. 45 mph gusts are no joke.

An hour after I took photos, I settled in for a movie and some Chipotle and got real cozy with that vest. Then I looked down at little Marni in my lap and spotted that cute helpless look in her eyes that typically means, “Pee, Mom, Pee.” (But sometimes means “I was chewing on your slipper again, Mom.”)

So I bundled us both up in anticipation of the winds and headed out into the corridor. I admit, at first I thought it was ash flying around outside. This initial thought likely stems from the summer California practically burnt to the ground and all I knew was a smoky sky of doom. I quickly spotted white sticky stuff on the sides of all the cars. It had started snowing, sideways.

That’s awesome Oklahoma. Cute.
