Guest Post: Joanne of FabAve — Colored Denim
Hello Rachael, Really readers, its Joanne again from Fabulously Average. When Rachael tweeted that she needed guest bloggers while she was visiting family back in California I totally had to jump at the chance to help a sister out! Like I mentioned before, Rachael and I became fast blogger buddies and we’ll actually be rooming together during the Texas Style Council Conference. I’m uber excited to finally meet the girl and can’t wait to chat it up, like I’m sure we will do immediately after meeting!
I think a reason that Rachael and I are such great blogger friends is our love of color. We both gravitate towards rich, vibrant colors and as you can tell by some of our most recent posts we are happy that the colored denim trend is still very apparent on the scene. And by the looks of what I’ve seen on Pintrest, this past S/S Fashion Week and many of the style magazines out there, Spring will be a very colorful season. The technicolor trend will lend itself greatly to color-blocking outfits and will help elevate otherwise plain ensembles. The possibilities are endless!
A lot of affordable stores like Target and Old Navy actually offer a variety of colors for great low prices. So head on over to some of your local stores and stock up, cause I’m sure this trend is going to be around for a while.
