Occasionally I’m completely simple and boring. It’s hard for me to do, I feel a need to dress special everyday — more than just my friends and family see my attire (I’m talking about you all.) and so when throw a simple outfit together, I often think maybe I should snazz it up a bit. Just for you.
And then I remember that we’re all human. You probably enjoy seeing me wear boring outfits every once in awhile just as much as I enjoy wearing them. That would be, sometimes and let’s not push it. I get it. I see the flack popular style bloggers take for wearing simple outfits every girl at the mall is sporting, but you have to step back and realize that even those big bloggers who stalk around in Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang — don’t always look like that.
I went to lunch, walked around downtown Chico and played in the park with my best friend Shelby and her little boy Cooper. Sometimes you need a nice ho-hum outfit to have a great day in.
On top of it all, I sorta failed to pack anything amazing in my suitcase. I threw the basics in and really didn’t think about “outfits” — which is why I’m wearing a jacket and scarf from my mom’s closet. Sorry mom, I put them back as soon as I got home, and I swear I didn’t spill frozen yogurt on anything. (Yes she reads my blog.)
