January 4th 2012

As you can tell from my earlier post, I wasn’t wearing this at the start of my day. I was essentially wearing the exact same thing I wore yesterday. I don’t like to re-wear my dirty “I-just-traveled-8-hours-in-these” clothes, but it was so darn cold out that I couldn’t really dig around in our frozen truck for the parts of my closet I needed. I also just wanted to be warm for a bit.

As the day continued on, we stopped at the Petrified National Forest and found this cool spot featuring some things from the original Route 66. Now, I’ve seen lots of museums and visitor’s sites for Route 66 in Oklahoma, but never an old car like this and this neat bench. The actual former route was just behind the car, lined with old telephone poles.

By the time we reached this point in our trip I was ready for my comfy cozy clothes. I threw this on and the first thing out of my husband’s mouth, “See, this is how I wish you’d dress everyday.”

What?

Men. I swear, they don’t know ass from end. I’m wearing the frumpiest clothes I own and he finds it appealing. He insisted on outfit photos. Okay, so I did. But only because he said he liked this one.
