I’m wearing a lot of varying textures with this outfit. Fur, corduroy, silky and fringed. When you stick to mild color palettes that mix well with each other, you can play with different mediums in your closet. It’s a nice way to add interest to your outfit without being annoying.
I never thought I’d be one of those girls wearing an over-sized button up shirt for the sake of fashion. Something about the lighter breezy fabric and cut of this blouse is flattering rather than frumpy. As long as you pair it with a slimmer bottom then you can easily get away with wearing a big top. I purposely bought this shirt nearly 2 sizes larger than I normally wear.
I’m going to do “Work It Wednesday” along with Jill’s blog Good Life For Less next week, where you show how you wear one item 3 different ways. This top will be a great example with how versatile it is. Keep an eye out for it next Wednesday!

Marni got a haircut and it’s blowing my mind how very different she looks. Like a whole new dog! Today she’s getting her lady parts hacked (I know, classy way of putting it, eh?) so send your love to her, poor little darlin’.
